He said that prior to his elevation, Ayo-Elias held the position of Chief, Human Resources Business Partnerships.
According to the statement, she has 25 years of experience gained in several sectors, including telecommunications, software, fintech and human resources consulting.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ayo Elias started his career at Societe Generale Bank Nigeria Ltd. where she was Executive Assistant to the General Manager of Human Resources.
She then joined Human Edge, MTN, Nokia, Coraggio and System Specs Ltd. where she held several senior HR positions until joining Airtel in May 2020.
In addition to her wealth of experience, she holds several degrees from accredited institutions around the world, including a Masters in International Human Resource Management from Cranfield University, Bedfordshire, UK.
