Inter Miami CF announces women in sports panel for April 2


To celebrate Women’s History Month, Inter Miami CF has announced a women in sports panel featuring four game changers within the Inter Miami CF family. The panel discussion and networking event will kick off a “double-header” proper, with the event leading directly into Inter Miami CF’s game against the Houston Dynamo on April 2, which will begin at 6 p.m. ET.

The panel discussion and networking event will begin at 4:30 p.m. ET at the XBTO North West Club at DRV PNK Stadium. The discussion will feature the following members of the Inter Miami CF squad:

  • Kaitlyn Stolzenberg – Human Resources Business Partner
  • Lauren Markwith – Digital Coordinator
  • Meghan Cameron – Director of Player Personnel and Compliance
  • Jennifer Asuaje – Academy Head Athletic Coach

Kaitlyn Stolzenberg

Kaitlyn Stolzenberg is the Human Resources Business Partner for Inter Miami CF. She partners with the organization in all aspects of human resources, which include talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, development, compliance, organizational structure and more.

Stolzenberg received his undergraduate degree in 2016 from Florida State University in sports management. Prior to continuing her education, she worked in community relations for the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Kastles, a professional tennis team located in Washington DC. Later in 2016, she returned to study at Florida International University, where she earned a master’s degree in humanities. Resource management.

While getting her master’s degree, Stolzenberg interned for the Miami Marlins, where she got a full-time job after graduation. After leaving the Marlins, she took a brief hiatus from the sport and began working for the Royal Caribbean Group. While at RCG, she oversaw their finance rotation program and then moved on to their HR team overseeing one of their brands.

Lauren Markwith

As Inter Miami CF’s Digital Coordinator, Lauren Markwith manages the Inter Miami CF II and Inter Miami CF Academy social media accounts while assisting with first team social channels. Markwith’s creative approach to creating engaging and unique content for Inter Miami CF’s social media channels introduces the Inter Miami CF brand to fans in South Florida, the United States and around the world.

Prior to joining Inter Miami CF, Markwith was a student-athlete at the University of Miami. While playing women’s football for the Canes, she also competed at the national level for the Guatemalan women’s national team.

Markwith earned an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami and earned her Masters of Science in Sports Administration, becoming the recipient of the University of Miami’s Harry Mallios Sport Industry Pro-Gram program.

Outside of the office, Markwith spends time color commentating for women’s soccer entities including the University of Miami and the National Women’s Soccer League. When she’s not watching football or calling games, Markwith is probably playing a pickup game with her friends!

Meghan Cameron

Meghan Cameron was hired as the club’s director of player personnel and compliance in September 2021. Cameron joined Sporting Kansas City, where she served as assistant director of player personnel from December 2017 to September 2021; the team topped the Western Conference twice during his time there.

Cameron has a long career with Major League Soccer (MLS), holding positions across the league for over a decade. In addition to working for Kansas, she was also senior director of player personnel and competition for MLS, a position she held since July 2010.

Cameron brings a wealth of knowledge and professional experience from her previous role as Senior Director of Player Relations at Major League Soccer. She had worked in the Player Relations and Competitions Department since 2010, helping all MLS clubs manage their respective rosters and budgets. She also approved player acquisitions, trades and oversaw the League’s competition calendar.

While at MLS, Cameron coordinated various player initiatives, including the annual Media and Marketing Tour, Rookie Symposium, and numerous events during the MLS All-Star Game and MLS Homegrown Game. At international level, she has facilitated youth training partnerships with the Spanish La Liga and the French Football Federation. Prior to joining MLS, Cameron was a member of DC United’s trade team from 2005 to 2008.

Cameron, a native of Roxbury Township, New Jersey, also played college football at Rutgers University. She helped the Scarlet Knights reach the Sweet 16 of the 2002 NCAA Tournament and received Big East Academic All-American honors in 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2005.

Jennifer Asuaje

As Head Academy Athletic Trainer at Inter Miami CF, Jennifer Asuaje oversees our U12 to U17 academy teams. Asuaje has been with Inter Miami CF since October 2019, where she helped lay the groundwork for the Academy’s inaugural year. Asuaje’s primary focus is the health and safety of all young Academy players.

Prior to joining Inter Miami CF, Asuaje worked with indoor and outdoor athletics, as well as men’s soccer at Lock Haven University. After leaving college, Asuaje coached high school athletics for 4 years in Broward County. For two years she also worked with the Olympic Development Program (ODP) where she worked with the Western Region and internationally.

Asuaje is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University, where she played Division II soccer. She continued her education at the University of California, Pennsylvania where she earned her master’s degree in exercise science and health promotion. She moved back to South Florida, where she lives with her husband and French bulldog.
