Karresa Gardiner appointed Chief Human Resources Compliance Officer

Karresa Gardiner as the Senior Human Resources Compliance Officer in the Human Management Resources Branch within the Office of the Deputy Governor.

Commenting on her appointment, Ms. Gardiner said, “I am honored and grateful to have the opportunity to take on this new role and join the public service of the Turks and Caicos Islands. My HR career began in the public service almost 10 years ago and I am very excited to continue contributing to its success. This new role demonstrates the changing needs of HR in the public service and I am grateful for the incredible opportunity to be the catalyst to help redefine how HR strategies can improve and transform the service.

Ms. Gardiner previously worked in the public sector as a human resources manager in HRD, before taking up the position of deputy human resources manager at the Shore Club. Gardiner holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Devry University in Florida, USA (2010) and a master’s degree in human resource management from the University of Westminster in London, USA. UK (2018).

She also earned the designation of Assoc. CIPD as an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), in addition to obtaining advanced HR certificates and diplomas from the CPD certification service, including: HR management and team leader; Performance Management Principles; HR strategies for companies; leadership management; HR Consulting; UK employment law and introduction to the law.
