Your new role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced lecturer to join the People, Culture and Organizations discipline team at the School of Management and Marketing! We seek to attract scholars with a PhD with extensive teaching experience in subjects related to human resource management and employee relations and/or career studies (including career choice, career development and career sustainability).

Successful candidates will have a solid record of achievement in learning and teaching, and experience in leading a team of fellow sessionals for the delivery of a large unit. Experience in coordinating units across multiple sites and/or platforms will also be greatly appreciated.

Essential criteria

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline (or equivalent accreditation and professional status for the teaching-focused clinical professional role).
  • Demonstrated high-level teaching skills and a demonstrated reflective approach to teaching delivery.
  • A solid understanding of educational theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to the discipline.
  • An emerging record of contribution to scholarship in education.
  • Demonstrated experience/ability to undertake unit coordination.
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and organizational communication and skills with a commitment to developing a collegial and supportive work environment and the ability to interact with students and staff with cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the application of relevant and applicable policies, procedures and laws in the day-to-day performance of the duties of this position.
