Luzerne County Fundraiser to Help Kentucky | WBRE / WYOU



DALLAS, ALZERNE COUNTY (WBRE / WYOU) – On Sunday, December 19, Pulverman in Dallas, Pa., Will host an event to coordinate relief efforts to supply those devastated by recent tornadoes.

In a statement released by Pulverman, HR Director Wally Pilger announced that he is asking community members to donate what they can.

“We will have a truck on site, so all people have to do is stop and our volunteers will unload the supplies and pack them up for shipment,” the announcement said.

According to Pulverman’s press release, all donated supplies will be packed into trucks and driven to the United Way-recommended Mayfield-Graves County Fairgrounds in Mayfield, Ky., To assist with relief efforts.

Sunday’s event will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1170 Lower Demunds Rd, Dallas, PA 18612

Pulverman requests the following supplies:

  • The water
  • Canned or canned non-perishable food
  • Baby items
  • Pet food
  • Paper products
  • Hygiene products
  • Clothing (new, unused)
  • Blankets
  • Tarpaulins
  • Christmas toys (new, unused)
