NAMA highlights central role of HR in creating gender-neutral work environments


Sharjah: NAMA Women Advancement (NAMA) will offer in-depth insights on diversity and inclusion by guiding organizations in creating safe and inclusive work environments through the lens of human resources at an upcoming interactive workshop in Dubai .

Held as part of NAMA’s Irtiqa Initiative, under the theme “The Future of Work is Gender Inclusive” and organized in collaboration with PwC Middle East, the two-hour workshop will take place on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the PwC office, Emaar Square, Dubai.

Targeting HR professionals and leaders of diversity and inclusion in the company’s workplace, the workshop titled “Creating an Inclusive Workplace: The Role of Human Resources” is the second in a series series of three action-oriented workshops to help companies build capacity and achieve gender equality results.

The workshop aims to highlight the unique position of human resource professionals as a catalyst for closing gender gaps and bringing about change in the implementation of inclusive strategies within organizations.

Led by PwC’s Diversity and Inclusion team and senior HR leadership, the workshop also advances NAMA’s commitment through the Irtiqa initiative to help companies achieve their equality goals. and help promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

This workshop will cover different aspects of the employee journey, from recruitment and onboarding to development and exit, and explore how human resources can revolutionize the path forward for women’s inclusion by better positioning women in work spaces.

The interactive workshop will feature a range of activities and lively discussions on embedding inclusivity into an organization’s core values ​​and will offer a hands-on approach to encouraging the creation of innovative and practical solutions to advance women on the work market.

Subject matter experts from PwC will share their insights and best practices on topics such as leveraging data to create equality, using emerging technologies to promote inclusion and the intersectionality of human resources and diversity and inclusion.
