Marshall has served as NASA’s director of human resources since 2018, where she led 30 HR professionals supporting more than 5,000 federal employees and a budget of $15 million. Prior to NASA, Marshall led leadership development for the US Postal Service.

“When I was sworn in, I pledged to provide our people with everything they need to serve our mission — and that includes investing in a leader dedicated to their growth and development,” Homendy said. . “Veronica is the right leader to sustain our workforce of dedicated experts, who are essential to protecting safety in today’s rapidly changing transportation landscape.”
