Explaining why they chose to base their business in Basingstoke, co-founder Dan Cox added: “There is no other recruitment agency like Edison in the area.
“We want to put Basingstoke on the map! We believe London doesn’t need to be the recruitment mecca it once was.
“Edison has already taken on employees who could not consider the trip to London due to childcare restrictions and family commitments.
“This is a sustainable recruitment plan for Edison and one that will embed us in the local community for many years to come.”
Edison Search supports the “Industry 4.0 revolution” by matching Internet of Things (IoT) talent with opportunity and is a global partner for IoT recruitment solutions.
The National Start Up Awards series honors the achievements of those incredible people who had a great idea, spotted the opportunity and took the risk to launch a new product or service.
